This stunning treasure showcases a beautifully tiered design, paying homage to the headpieces that Thai dancers wore during performance, as miniature replicas of Thai princess crowns; hence, why they are known as both princess rings and harem rings. In the 1940s-1960s, many were brought home from Thailand by US servicemen as gifts for their sweethearts. This 1940s vintage crown features a cluster of sparkling genuine natural rubies and white sapphires set in solid 10KT yellow gold (marked 14KT, tests in 10KT range, a common finding in rings of this era). Beautiful collectible, priced exceedingly well (plz see example ad of near identical ring / specs $1,689.99). Wondeful condition for age, wear commensurate w/ age.
