Rare Antique Italy Italian Porcelain 5-Well Oyster Plate c1880s White Brown. This rare plate has a hexagonal shape with six oyster-shell-shaped wells and a central sauce well. It features a white glaze well in a flower petal design with a brown base. The plate is 9 3/4" across, hallmark on the back, and with numbered AS1112.
We have four plates on hand; they have a couple of small niches on the ridge of the base, which could be caused by the tension of the plate hanger. Overall, they are in very good antique condition
