Vintage Sterling silver AXT sterling silver mechanical pencil. Fob style. Measures 3.25" long. Include the vintage Ketchan McDougall retractable lanyard brooch that was attached to it when I bought it. Marked "AXT sterling Made in USA". Has a small shallow dent near the top where the spot of darker tarnish is. Otherwise, all seems to be in excellent condition. Lanyard works and has an older
Style C clasp. The lanyard has a metal chain that retracts. I believe it dates pre-WWII. There is no lead so I was unable to test it. The tip twists smoothly. I don't see any markings on the retractable brooch. Definitely isn't sterling. At best it's white gold plated, but no marks to specify.
