Up for sale is a classic piece of mid-60s electronics: a Toshiba 8P-823F 8-Transistor portable radio. This model is a great example of the sleek, pocket-sized design that defined the era, featuring a slim profile and a vertical tuning dial.
Condition:
* Cosmetic: The radio is in good vintage condition. The battery compartment is clean with no rust or corrosion. The chrome trim shows some wear consistent with age, and there are some spots/discoloration on the speaker grille (see photos). The telescoping antenna is intact and opens up to 20 inches at its longest.
* Functionality: The radio powers on and produces static, indicating the circuitry is alive, but I have not been able to tune in a clear station.
